SERVICES
Viridian Studios provided placemaking and hardscape design at the front entrance plaza including seating, pedestrian circulation, granite walls, steps, ramps and decorative railings. Managed the full-service landscape design process, including arborist assessment, irrigation design and plant materials schedule.
DETAILS
The City of Atlanta and Northside Youth Organization (NYO) are expanding and modernizing the existing gym to add a second gymnasium and update the facility for year-round youth sports and community use. Program elements include two full-size courts, a weight room, athletic training space, skills & drills area, and a multipurpose room. The project is paired with a proposed new parking garage at Chastain Park, with associated site work including utilities, landscaping, and hardscape improvements to enhance access and circulation.
