SERVICES

Jennifer Ilkin, in a previous role as Principal Landscape Architect, led the landscape architecture team as landscape architect of record (LAoR), for the overall design and documentation, with a required focused on over-structure amenity design. The program includes numerous green roofs at amenity spaces, including the level 7 pool deck, upper-level lounge, as well as residential unit balconies.  The site features notable grade changes along its frontages, carefully integrated in the design to provide at-grade activation.  The LAoR worked closely with the design landscape architect to refine the lush and intricate plant palette and design details.  The extensive over-structure construction required thorough coordination with the design team, particularly structural engineering, architecture, MEP, waterproofing, and interiors. Design was carefully coordinated with the modular green roof grower and installer to define the various roof plant palettes, cultivated to prosper in various sun, shade, and general exposure microclimates, and to achieve a diversity of blooms, textures and habits, including spilling/trailing vines tested in trial growings and installations.
